in the past, all racing dynamics products made in italy were sold in the u.s. under the racing dynamics name. a few years ago, Racing Dynamics Italty had a dispute with the North American supplier over misuse of the "Racing Dynamics" name and they were right - the N.A. distributor was applying the name "Racing Dynamics" to parts that were not made by Racing Dynamics in Italy. Unfortunately, the distributor legally owned the name in North America so Racing Dynamics of Italy had no choice to be cut off ties with that distributor and begin marketing their products in North America under the new name RDSport. Today, if you buy a product that is labeled "racing dynamics" in north america, it does not come from Racing Dynamics in Italy. You must buy RDSport if you wish to have the true product. I will not comment on the quality of the parts made by the north american distributor, but let it be known that they are also the distributors for some really shitty vw/audi products.
