The spring rate increase over stock is rather dramatic. Eibachs in the front w/ stockers in the rear sounds scary, IMHO. But hey, to each there own . . .

Oops! I ment .5 not .3. It was .75 but I had bilsteins in the back and it raised a little. My front is only dropped an inch since the bilsteins brought it back up. I've tried both setups and with my 235/40 17 all around there is not much difference. It's just a matter of personal preferance. If you do a little research, you'll notice that a lot of aftermarket springs lower the front more than the back. I chose a set-up where my front is barely lower and my back is barely lower than my stock back.

AutoX times are very driver dependent. You must be one herculean driver.
What kind of bilstein/eibach set-up were you runnin' in the rear that netted only a .3" drop? Perhaps your "stock" rear suspension is the M-technik "sport" suspension. Otherwise, your buggy would be violently pushing/plowing all over the place with your mismatch set-up. These cars understeer at low speeds in stock form. You have headed far further down the road of understeer with your hybrid set-up. But if you say it works like a charm - then I beleive you.

I got bilstein and eibachs (1.3 drop) up front. The back is completely stock. Originally, I had the back springs in (.3 drop)but I took them out for a very slight tilt affect. With this set-up the car is not as bouncy/firm in the back. At the LA chapter autocross, I posted some pretty decent times.
