The software you have now is all you need. There is no "intake provision" at all as the code is able to compensate.

I have a 99 M3 with Jim's software (sans intake provision). If I get a Conforti CAIS, is the upgrade really necessary? I want the intake but would like to avoid having to park the car for a couple of days to mail the ECU in again, that is, until I get the chance to do so.
