This is a common problem.

I fix mine by periodically spraying the clutch housing and bushings with about a half ton of WD-40. It is possible to attempt this and miss that certain spot that really needs the lubrication, but a carpet bombing approach will work just about every time. Yeah, it'll smell like WD-40 for a day. You can live with this.

Crude but effective. Good luck.
