The perception that a vendor has not performed at 101% is kept in ones mind far longer than the rare complimentary message that may be passed out.
It's unfortunate how good reputations are hurt quickly but built up slowly.
If there is a beef or complaint about a vendor or supplier, always go straight (and privately) to the source, never air your dirty laundry in public or you could be embarrassed.
Do not assume a vendor reads bimmer.org on a daily basis. They probably have other important things to do as well, like taking care of orders on time so customers stay happy.
If you have a question for a vendor, ask THEM directly... if it takes awhile to get back to your e-mail, remember that they are probably dealing with 50 e-mails per hour and it takes time to catch up.
I know I see this kind of thing here all the time. I'm glad to answer questions as I can, but a very specific question about an individual's order should be sent directly or, like they did in the good old days, CALL on the phone. Doesn't get any more "instant message" than that.
