Paul -

I'm composing an email as we speak. I was actually quite impressed by them - at least with regards to the fact that they're free-air 8" subs.
Obviously I didn't give them as much of an audition as it'd take to make a completely fair evalution but let's just say that I just couldn't see them out-performing my a/d/s/ 312rs.

I'll fill you in on my impressions in the email.

Jerry, I take it that after auditioning them, you were less than impressed with their sound...I was considering replacing my rear stock coaxials with them, to go along with a powerful amp and MB Quart coaxials up front...Can you tell me, did you lose too much 'fill' by replacing your rear coaxials with the STealthboxes, or was there something else about the sound quality you didnt like.....thanks.

Thanks Jerry, as you know by my email to you,I received the information....A question I forgot to ask: are the Stealths considered Free Air, or , does the enclosures around them take them out of that realm, or, are they to be considered a kind of hybrid system?
