Not 5 minutes but if you are mechanically inclined (i.e. you don't mind jacking up your car and sliding under it on the ground) it should take about 30 minutes from start to finish while taking you time. Don't forget you need to remove the straight bar which is located further back behind the rear mounting points of the x-brace.

On my '97 M3 is it true it should only take five minutes to bolt on? Is it as easy as putting the bolts in the Already pre-existing holes?
