for what? max fuel economy? max acceleration? anywhere above 2500 or so and below redline will not hurt engine, but stay below 4k until oil is warm (around 15 minutes). The engine doesn't start making real power until 4.5k+ rpm; if you stayed below that all the time you may as well get another car.


What rpm is defined as a proper shift point on a M3?Around the vicinity of 4500rpm? Would it be stressful on the engine to go over? Any comments i will appreciate and most importantly learn from!
