According to the parts dept. at a local BMW dealer.... They claim that even though the part number is the same(as the old pedal), the actual material that the pedal is constructed of is different. He also said that BMW NA informed dealers to replace the pedal with this part. Under warranty!!!!! I hope this info is correct.


The part numbers for the updated parts are..
Pedal 35311158659 about 20 bucks
Bushing 35211158290 about 2 bucks
