I don't have your contact info or email because my hard drive crashed. This is for the guy that gave me extensive advice on my system and was trying to build a custom bass system with my rear baffles if I wasn't going to use them.
All the parts are finally in.
It turned out I got the Fosgate Fanatic Q 5.25" SINGLE components without the tweeters! I bid for it on EBay thinking it was the set! Therefore I plan to mount the Infinty Kappa 4"+1" matched components in the front door panels rather than the rear. This will solve the phasing issues and may only require a little cutting to work with the 3" opening. I will simply not use the punch 3" I was going to put in the door panel. That would have been hard to balance for a novice like myself anyhow, and when I got it the thing looks like crap! Big bubble(sorry don't know the term) in the middle with glue around it? May just mount it in the rear for fill withouth using any additional power.
Here's my plan based on our emails:
Sealed Box in trunk with the two Pioneer diamond plate 10"s. 150W RMS each. Powered by the Fosgate 600. I have been advised to go with a 50mghz crossover on the subs as well? Comments welcome.
Infinity Kappa 4" and 1" components w/crossovers to replace door panel speajers, powered by the Fosgate 160W.
Fosgate Fanatic Q 5.25" down by feet powered by the current Blaupunkt 300. I will simply have to get a passive crossover for the 5.25"s which can compliment the Kappa's? Open for comments there as well!
Will take out the rear baffles and simply leave the grill for looks so the sound can enter the cabin.
The baffles are yours my friend.
