That's what I had expected. I've always loved Porsche's too but as a young and still up and coming entreprenuer I had to begin satisfying my urges with the 97 Luxo linked below. Only mods so far are the ECIS CAI and Injector but will get into exhaust, springs, shocks, braces/bars, etc. as I can. My buddy has a sweet 911 which he wants to swap out with me one of these weekends so I'm looking forward to finding out for myself. The 911 seems much bigger/cumbersome and less luxourious by far from riding in it. Definately feels slower and apparently is very hard to maximize shifting. Of course I have the Luxo which is probably a big factor towards the interior seeming less luxourious. More like a cockpit.
Is that the BB Triflo you have? And don think the M3 has more understeer because it accelerates quicker?
Well yes they both have their pluses... the M3 is a fast car and since my M3 has a ton of mods it will smoke the boxster easy in a straight line. the Boxster however feels fast but needs more power.
Now when it comes to handling my M3 has new shocks, springs, sways, x and strut braces...yada yada yada and it corners quite nicely and really flat. The boxster may not have the ultimate grip but the turn in feels much sharper. Also it is completely nuetral no pushing or oversteer. so I almost want to give the boxster the advantage here.
Then you can drop the top in the boxster and it gets a lot of attention, but the M3 does to since it is louder hehe I have the tri flo on the M3. I tis a toss up both are 97's and I like them both. the boxster is fun to drive and the M3 is fun to haul some ass in.
I imagine they each have their own individual pluses?
it is ocean blue and a black top and interior. Just thought some people may want to see it.
Don't worry I still have my M3 too hehehe
