what are you looking for, best 1/4 mile or 0-60 times? you don't need to get all these nice expensive cars together,,, you know what an s4 and m3 hp is, you know that the tranny ratios are, assume 20% loss through both car's drive train, you know each car's weight and drag coefficient, and you know at what rpm the engine makes peak hp.

so get a calculator and there you go! couldn't be easier and, driver skills, car wear & tear and acculmated mileage are elliminated from the equation. i have written a simple Matlab script to calculate these things. if you post the s4 tranny ratios, weight, and drag coeffient, and ideal upshift rpm, i'd be happy to post your acceleration times and car's top speed.
