You will prefer a changer, in dash or not. I have had both, changing disks every 40-60 minutes while going 70 sucks.

NAD makes an in dash mutiple changer. The BMW changer is the only alternative which you can get used off the board.

I have a 95 M3 with a tape head unit that came stock. What I really want is a cd head unit, and not a changer. Is there a simple way to do this? Any good head units that will fit, not look too glitzy (aiwa style lights!), and cost around 200 bucks?

I don't want to do anything else to the stereo, b/c I have a sweet home stereo (NHT and harman kardon).

My only interest is in being able to play cd's instead of tapes.

thanks in advance,

Steve M
