solder will give you the lowest resistance compared to a crimp, but we are talking about tiny tiny milli-milli-milli ohms here that, while this might be an issue for computers, a light bulb will never know the difference. a crimp connection is absolutely essential in cars and airplanes because there is too much movement in the wire harness that eventually it will cause the connection to break. there are no soldered connections on a car's or airplane's wire harness. assembly time is not the issue here.
