just thoguht you guys would like to know, i went for a test drive today at the lexus dealership, and came back very surprised. i had alot of pre-conceptions about lexus's before i went in there, but that changed. to cut to the point, i was very surprised in the IS. it has a very strong I6, not as powerful as our M's, but enough for everyday driving. the handling was very comparable to my M3\4, which is stock. all togther it is a very nice package, i got a price of 34635 loaded with a limited slip. for that price, it blows the M3 away, with half the options that the M3 has are stock on the IS. so, as i said earlier, it is a very nice car for the price, and i would consider it as a replacement for my M3 when my lease is up. just thought you guys would like to know. It used to be that cars really had a soul and you could tell the difference between say a BMW and an Alfa Romeo because they were born from different minds rather than computers. New cars really are not that different from each other and I think that anyone who knows this would write more about image appeal and marketing in regard to these cars.
