In Reply to: HID Ellipsoids - How to properly aim them? posted by richard on September 15, 2000 at 18:16:15:

go to technical infomation.

I just got my HID Ellipsoids working last night (ordered from Eric at SupremePowerParts) and they are DAMN bright! I can see everything up to half a block away.

I am concerned that I'm blinding people though because some guy was high beaming me across an intersection. I want to lower them but not make them too low because then I won't be able to see anything except a bright spot on the floor.

I know the ellipsoids shine high on the right but I want to aim the correctly. Anyone know the best method of aiming them?
