it's loud but "livable." its drones at around 2K rpm, but you get used to it...i dont even notice it anymore...i get lots of comments on how people love the deep throaty sound, not like the bumble bee sound of some hondas/acuras...and this is from honda/acura drivers, go figure...the DTM tips stick out far enough from the paint to leave any deposits or heat up the paint (when i first installed it, i'd feel the rear valence right above the exhaust, and check for an increase in temperature...there was none)...its great and i love it...any future cars of mine will get a tri-flo exhaust, the "loud" version...
