enough grip. i ran a few 12.5's at 118.5 mph against a headwind in 80+ degree, humid weather. this was on street tires, with muffler on, and 3/4 tank of fuel...
i was just out to have a nice casual race night,,, took it easy,, visited alot and made some runs.
the tires were spinning like no tomorrow all the way down the track,,, each gear,, but 4th. it was like racing on a slip-n-slide. my best times were when i started at a low rpm and let off between shifts in lower gears so tires wouldn't spin so bad. i'll have to get the nitto 225's to get the best times, i believe. but it was a fun night anyway,, and with several quick cars,, but none ran faster than my 12.5's. 2 new vettes,, one with nitrous (12.68) 2 grand nationals, turbo trans am, supercharged mustang, superbee, several other mustangs and camaros, supra tt, 300z, turbo eclipse, astro minivan (yes,, that's right...lol) and several others.
it was a good night though,, just me and my baby out under the moonlight, tearing up the track and kicking butt.

Tommy, Wish I could make it tonight. My girl is undergoing some minor changes, I picked up a sponsor for My endeavors, and am lokking for a few more. Wow, can you imagen' getting paid to play? Well, I should be back next week hopfully running a nice 12.8 or maybe even faster.

Well, see.......

Aaron
