Mark- I bought my Avus 95 in March, and the dealer was asking $29K. I drove off with it for $25,600. It had 63K (higher than I would have liked, but on this engine, not really an issue) and was in good shape except for an unusually rock pitted front bumper. I looked at other dealers in the area, and they were asking $30-32K for similiar 95s. I live in Oregon, where we have no sales tax, but slightly higher prices. So I think that $26K is a good asking price, and $23,500-$24K would be a good buying price. Miles are low, and car is in good condition. If you can get it for around that price, go for it, you'll be glad you did.

Hi everyone, my name is Mark and I am considering buying a 1995 M3. This will be the first trip into BMWdome as I have a Jetta VR6 currently (and a GTI 16v racecar). Anyway, I have driven several M3's and today I drove a 95 M3 (Avus blue with black leather). Totally pristine car with 38k miles on the clock. Kinda special car, has the black sport seats with no heated seats or power seats. No sunroof or cruise control. Anyway the car is pristine was maintained by Dinan up in San Francisco and now resides down here in San Diego. The owner is asking $26,000. Is that a fair price? Oh the car has NO mods.

Anyway, that is about it. Just wanted to introduce myself. Oh, one little note is it me or does the 3.0l feel punchier down low and just a little bit sweeter (aka smoother etc.) than the 3.2l? I don't know much technically about these cars so maybe you guys can provide insight.
