Howdy,
I actually have a 328Ci (e46) but I have asked this question @ that forum with very little feed back and though you all might have some suggestions...

I am wanting to mount my video cam (Sony MiniDV) somewhere in my car to film track events, road kills, autoXing, etc!
I want something stable, and reasonbly priced.

Anyone have any good DIYs, or links for any good products!?!?!

Thanx,
FoRT

I do not have an E46, but rather a M3/2. I purchased a harness bar from Speedware (Speedware.com) in Redmond, WA. They custom make harness bars, and I would think that they would have one for an E46 by now. The video mounts from I/O Port Racing seem to be all the rage, and they are much more stable (less shake) than anything which I have found in the camera shops. My harness bar installs and uninstalls in about 20 minutes, and I didn't drill a single hole!
