I got a set of the Bilstein Sport shocks for sale, email me if you are interested in them, thanks.

Hey guys

I have been told that the 99 M3 suspension is somewhat different than that of the previous evo model years(96-98). I know the 95 has different suspension. My concerns are as follows:

I have compared my M3 to other model years and mine sits much higher. Granted I take into account that suspension DOES settle after time and usage. Why is this? Also, what is different on a 99 than say a 98 or 96?

I want to lower my car. I was leaning towards the HR/Bilstein sport setup however I have read recently that even the DTM springs do not lower a 99 as much as it would a 96-98. Does this apply to the HR sports too? I dont want to spend close to $1000 and beyond to lower the carand be disappointed. For this matter I was considering the Koni shocks since I hear Bilsteins raise the car about .25 in. I thought maybe the HR race instead of the Sports to get the dropped look but everyone says its too harsh for the street-OK i can understand since I wont be tracking the car. However I would like my car a little lower/stiffer. I would like to get feedback from those with either setup on a 99 if possible.

thats all I can think of right now, ill post more questions if i can think of em. thanks again for everyones time and ~hopefully~ responses!

PS Please dont tell me to check the archives because I already have =)

Jonathan
