I am not sure whether he is correct or incorrect, im just stating what he said to warn people. I understand that your fuel maps won't revert back to stock after a while, but what he meant was that the extra fuel maps will be in the ecu, and ready for disposal, but unless the conditions are perfect,like you said, they won't be used. Im not an expert, so I don't know what is necessary to access these maps, and the extent of it. It may be that with a stock setup, you can still access these maps in good conditions. but i can't say for sure because I don't know much about the ecu and the engine, etc.
All im saying is that he warned me against it, and I'm not going to purchase any engine upgrades until he can be proved wrong.
