My M3 is need of some new rear shock mounts. I plan on buying some aluminumn mounts from ground control or JT designs

I have the ground control mounts on my 97 M3. I really like them a lot, they have a nice design. They're a bit more difficult to install, and they make installing a rear shock tower bar much more difficult. They have a metal plate on top, which further reinforces the area, sandwiching it. Then, two studs go down through the Al part of the mount, instead of coming up.

You should get the ground control mounts, I'm totally happy with them.
