Do not cut your springs and ruin a set of good springs. This is the most ghetto thing you could ever do to your car, and we sure don't want to see ghetto M3's out there. Here is why you don't cut springs. Your car will undoubtedly sit uneven which fucks up the handling. Then you'll start getting squeeks on your suspension. Sounds like shit. Also if you want the same stiffness springs as stock but an inch lower, forget about it because your car won't handle nice at all. That stock stiffness is made for that specific height. If you ever do find soft springs that are an inch lower, be ready to repaint your front bumper cause you'll bottom out. Cutting springs is a no no. You get what you pay for. BTW, Spring cutting is free.
