? about dinan chip, just purchased 95 m3 (archive)

I just purchased a great cond. 95 m3, 26k miles that has a Dinan chip in it. The previous owner bought the chip from Dinan immediately upon there release back in early 1995. Is there any difference between this 5 year old chip and the new ones being sold today??? Also, I am contemplating Dinan's cold air intake in conjunction with the chip that is already installed. Dinan states that a chip, cold air intake and their exhaust system will "up" the horsepower to 266 hp @6000 rpm.

Can you really feel this increase and overall, is it worth the money??
