this seems to sound like your pads that you purchased have no anti-rattle clips on the inside pads! I have this problem when changing to my Hawk pads (for track only). The pads do not "suck", they just do not have the clips (typical of high perf. pads).

My car only has 15K miles. I am hearing a rattle from the rear passenger side when going over small bumps. Large bumps seem to make no noise. It sounds like thin metal vibrating, like the sound I would expect from a loose exhaust pipe (which it isn't).

It seems to stop if I apply the brakes even lightly.

Is this the rear shock mount? Is there an easy way to check it?

Thanks,
Eric
