My car only has 15K miles. I am hearing a rattle from the rear passenger side when going over small bumps. Large bumps seem to make no noise. It sounds like thin metal vibrating, like the sound I would expect from a loose exhaust pipe (which it isn't).

It seems to stop if I apply the brakes even lightly.

Is this the rear shock mount? Is there an easy way to check it?

Thanks,
Eric

I had the same problem with EBC Greens and Reds. EBC pads are in no way a track pad. I have used both the Greens and the Reds and both of the compounds cracked after one day at the track. Not to mention they get terrible wear. I switched to Pagid Orange pads and they are awesome. I got about 8 days on the track with them compared to about 2 - maybe 3 with the EBC's. Plus the Pagids can withstand WAY more heat. You can get also the Pagid Blue for street use which can also be used for the track. I just use the Orange on the street, they do squeel a little but they are the best thing out there.
