The city I live in (back at home), Saratoga, the cops don't usually ticket for exhausts. There are loads of mustangs, camero's and such. My friend took me for a ride in his prelude w/ a huge/loud exhaust and was going 45 in a 25 zone. Unfortunately there was a cop and he got pulled over for speeding. All the cop said was, "car sounds good! The engine is stock right?" my friend said, "yeah, just an intake and an exhaust". then the cop said, "as long as you didn't touch the engine."

My friend still got a ticket, but that's a lot beter than a ticket plus a few fix-it tickets!

Are exhausts illegal or what? What exhuast is the limit? Triflo?

On Saturday, I got pulled over for my SS exhaust. Cop wanted to hear how loud it was. Per his instructions, I revved it up to 3k rpms. Cop said it wasn't too loud. But he gave me a ticket for the tint. Oh well, you win some and you lose some.
