When I started my car last time it gave me "Check Brake Light Circuit" message. It also asked to refer to user's manual. I havn't got the chance to read it yet. Anyone know what this could be?

Thanks.

Same thing happened on my 98 M3/2.... it is actually caused by an original faulty brake light switch that is common on most E36 M3s. The dealer should replace it for free, as was done with mine.

Jeff
