If someone where to take my land and home I would of course sit peacefully and hope that someday it would be returned.
Why would I be mad? If someone came to my home and said his ancestors once owned it so it was his.....how could I be mad or violent. I would just peacefully step aside and say "please take my home, the thousand years my parants/people have lived here is irrelevant."
I believe you are correct in every sense of the word. Those damn homeless/landless/countryless Palestinians, how dare they complain.
First, the press has been notorious for taking the sides of the Palestinians and jading their reporting. Ignoring this, some news stories have been objective. I agree that it's horrible when you see a young boy get shot in a cross fire, but it must be understood that this was a cross fire. This means two sides. The Israelis were shooting at the Palestinian Authority, which was supposed to be quelling riots, not insighting further ones. Arafat's "peacekeepers" had one of their men shoot an Israeli soldier from his own unit while they were patrolling last week. This is nothing short of a highly tense situation, and this is clearly not one sided aggression. Anyone who'd assert that is simply ignorant. It's a tragic scene, but let's not make ignorant comments concerning it.
