on HW17 back from Santa Cruz tossed a rock and it got me right in my sight line. Just a small, star burst pattern but ruined my day.

I stopped at the local big car wash (on Bascom) that had a detail center. Took them about 40 minutes to drill the hole, pressure fill lexan, heat both sides and polish.

I can't see more than a tiny spec of "dust" and it's been over 2 years now and all kinds of weather and stress. However, don't delay. This fix works best with new dings and will stop the spreading if done early.

Sure, a new winshield might look better but getting the same seal quality as the factory is a real gamble.
