You are right. The 4 door IS taller, with a larger "greenhouse", and with a less steeply raked windshield. I have never heard anything about the 4 door having superior aerodynamics. I HAVE heard that the 4 dr chasis is stiffer. But that is it.


considering the 4dr is about .7 inches taller, and the same length (easier accomodations for rear passengers). The front on the coupe is longer (the hood is longer), meaning a four door which is taller would be slightly boxier than a coupe, thus probably creating more drag. Am I wrong here? Any other reason they could have turned to four doors? Curious now..CYA>PM3

I have a 2 door. Serious racers switched to 4 doors in the endurance and other race classes once the 4dr was available to them.
