i heard somewhere that we've gotten 14" of so far.

I'm here in Ft.Lauderdale, FL. and it's pouring rain! 10 inches reported or something crazy like that. I've entered a few intersections and roadways where I have had to think twice and actually reverse out of them due to really high (and I mean high) water.

I just wanted to know if anybody else is having the same problems and what problems am I going to have is I drive thru water that is 'too high'?

I already hit a patch of deep water today on accident at a faster than I should have speed. Car acted funny for a little while, but then everything seemed to work OK after a few minutes.
