a 98 VW GTI VR6 with basic bolt-on's(Neuspeed exhaust,Neuspeed p-flo intake,Neuspeed p-chip,Bilstein sports,H&R race springs,Eurosport rear stress bar,Eibach front stress bar,and Brembo
11.3 inch cross-drilled rotors)After driving my fathers 750il I wanted to get a BMW but I couldn't afford it at that time so i bought the GTI(Only 18 at the time and had to buy my own car so even though my heart belonged to BMW,affording one was a problem. Please don't flame me for buying a VW). Although the car performed well it was put together in Mexico probably by workers drinking Corona's and downing shots of tequila while installing the transmission and electrical system. After 20,000 miles my tranny had to be replaced and after 30,000 my right side taillight,
parking light, blinker, side marker, tachometer light, and radio did not work even after two visits to VW service center. So as you could imagine after two years of headaches I was not that upset when it was stolen. Now I work two jobs
and I am in a better financial position to buy a M3 so hopefully soon I'll be a proud M3 owner.

I have noticed about six 1997 models in this months issue and others in 1998, 1996 and 1995. Many to choose from. If you are not a member, I strongly suggest you join. Everyone with a BMW (especially with an M3) should join, it only costs $35/year. Lot's of Tech. Tips and cars/parts for sale in the magazine. Great reading. You also get discounts on parts and stuff as well. Go to their website http://www.bmwcca.org/core.htm and check out the classifieds. You need to be a member to look at the most up-to-date lists.

Good luck, sorry to hear your car got stolen? Was it an M3? What were the particulars?

Take care, Brad
