You state that you might try the Dunlops due to their wear rating being twice as much. I like Dunlops; used 'em on my ol' 2002s. You realize, however, that the wear rating is applicable *ONLY WITHIN ONE COMPANY* (meaning that the 9000 Hydromax tires' wear rating being twice as much means that they'll wear twice as much as other Dunlops, not that the 9000 Hydromax tires will wear twice as much as Pirellis, Michelins, Bridgestones, or Yokahamas. The wear/traction ratings only apply within the same company's products)
