Eggs are very strong chemically against paint. Don't know if it is acidic or basic or what, but it will eat paint. Evan L's old car was egged on the trunk and it ate through the paint because he wasn't there immediatly to wash it off. I'll let him add more, but he had to have his trunk lid repainted to repair it. Yours does not appear to be as bad as his was though.
