I have a 96 M3 with 47K miles on it and I've had no problems except for a faulty Crank Sensor, which was taken care of by the dealer.

It's a great car and I maintain it religiously. My only recommendation is to look carefully into its history and whom you're buying it from.

Good luck!

I am thinking of purchasing an E36 M3, most likely a 95 for modability. I have never owned a BMW, and I am wondering how reliable this particular model would be, since it would be my daily driver. Common problems, weak points, etc? Thanks for the advice.
