Does it happen over bumps? Or when the car is twisting? Try lubricating the back seat latches... or another common noise is the passenger seat rubbing on the door.

While driving, I occasionally hear a very short, high pitched chirp or squeeling sound that seems to be coming from the rear right side of the car. It sounds a lot like the squeel you hear from the factory issue brake pads, but it never happens while I'm on the brakes. It seems to happen intermittantly at any speed, in any gear. At first, I thought it was one of the rear brakes, but now I'm not so sure. I've even tried coasting on a smooth, level road and pulled up the E-brake slightly to listen for the chirp. Didn't happen.

Anyone have any ideas what this could be??

Thanks

Tom
