I raced one at the 1/4 mile track. He had a better launch. I spun my wheels too much and he got 3/4 car length on me. The the M3's credit I pulled on him thru the 1/4 and he beat me by a hair. I think the M3 is faster or at least easier to drive fast. If the car is new to him and you don't make any major mistakes I think you can take him. The cars are very closly matched. Your low end torque should help you win a race from a dead stop.
