I've lost two brake springs, one about 2 weeks after I got the car. Made this clank metal-on-metal noise. Easy to check, you can see them through the wheels...

Cheers,
Dave

Tonight when my car was over speed bumps (in parking lot at quite low speed), I heard some strange noise that seem to come from front wheels (or from where my left foot is). It sounded a bit like metal hitting each other though a bit muffled. I've heard alot of worn rear shock mount complains for M3s. Could this be a worn front shock mount??

(Never heard of the noise from worn shock mounts, so I could only guess.)

I also got x-brace on... could it also be a lose x-brace?
