And, yes, people do notice is more. I can't say that it attracts more cops (any car doing 95 in a 60 attracts cops...) than others, but it does get a little more attention at the stoplight.

Also, if you've never owned yellow, there are two things to consider. 1) Yellow is VERY easy to take care of, and hardly shows dirt. Easy to wax, too. 2) If you ever need body work, yellow is almost impossible to match. It fades in a wierd way, and it's hard to paint just one panel.

Anyway, I love it... the only color M I'd own!

I have a yellow 97 and it does attract attention. Often the wrong kind: cops and kids wanting to do a little stoplight grand prix but you learn to adapt. Tell you what though, IMO, yellow, gives the car a mean, menacing, aggressive look that white, silver, blue, or green can't match.
