I'm driving on them right now, and am conscerned when I read stuff like this... Where they old tires?
not too bad. i felt something was wrong so i slowed down and got off the highway. i then swearved slowly to see what was up as i tried to get to a gas station. before i got there i heard a big pop. so i stopped and went for a look. my back right tire was flat.
so i changed the tire and looked at it. it had a 3 to 4 inch gas on the inside. it looked like i was getting some tread separation. i found it kinda ironic since i'm riding on bridgestone so2 pp.
so here are my questions. is this pilot error or will i get some sort of cash compensation for this by bridgestone? i know that i am supposed to get at least two back tires, but i am not sure if i should get so2pp anymore, can i get michelins or yokos on the back and still have the so2pp's in the front? last question is, is there a good place to buy tires in the nyc area, or should i just go to tirerack?
thanks for any answer.
