Got hit a month ago, and I picked up the car today. The BMW
body shop did a decent job on the paint, looks like the rest
of the car. (I got hit in the front and driver side panel.)
They replaced the whole front bumper with light and all.
The only bad thing, they left bad scratches on both lower
moldings and my drivers door. I went over the car with a find-tooth comb, and made the body shop annotate EVERY scratch, and write up a promise to fix them. I went to turn
in my rental, and the advisor from the shop was applying
touch-up paint as I came across the street! I knew then I had better look at the car closely. It took 4 long weeks and
1K in rental charges. I was going nuts, since I only had the
car a month before I got hit! Now I'm scared of every driver
out there is going to hit me, paraniod I guess. That sucks,
I guess I have to buy a hooptie to get around in. Hate that.
