just trying to make an informed decision . . .

based upon lincoln's rec's, i think i might be interested in the whole infinite baffle/ free air idea. enough people have said that the bass is NOT where they want it when just using a box in the trunk. although muffled bass (without excessive cost) may be a sound alternative to NO BASS currently or spending big bucks on an elaborate system.

if i go free air, do i have to implement an aperiodic membrane? as lincoln suggested. if not, is a (1) 50w x 2 amp into 2 ohms; (2) two 10" subs, sufficient to power a free air system.

again, sorry to beat this dead horse . . .
