We've seen this many times on this forum. In OBDII cars, the CE light comes on if the cap is loose. (I suffered this fate recently). Maybe when you filled up at the car wash?
It takes a week to 10 days (really) for the condition to be resolved by itself.

MOST of the O2 sensor failures result in a blinking CE indicator while the loose gas cap causes the CE light to be on constantly. It's still worth having the dealer read the fault codes, just to make sure.
