The "wood" trim surrounding the shifter up onto the dash is cracked on my 1995 M3. The estimated cost to replace is $615 (mostly, for the part) which seems a bit high. Is there a 3rd party source for this part my dealership could install (they don't mind...they seemed kind of surprised at the cost, too). My "color" is "nussbaum"...

Mines cracked too! After going to three dealers, I got one to replace it under warranty! I can't believe the first two actually accused me of breaking it! f*cking bmw dealers are bunch of [email protected]#@!$
