5 Liter Mustangs are not very fast, the fastest one (not counting Cobras) was the 89 5.0 LX, and that only ran the 1/4 stock in the high 14s! My 328is with the 5 speed runs the 1/4 stock in 14.7, I have an intake now, but I was stock when I beat the 2 5.0s, one was a 90 GT, and the other was a 88 or 89 LX, and it wasnt hard either! Trust me on this, I know a lot about the Stangs because they use to be my main prey in my Z28--and I ate A LOT of them!! Stangs are way overated, people think they are so fast, but they really arent much, the new ones are better, but still not much, M3s should wipe the road with them easily!
