The '99 M3 has one-touch open and kick-back on the sunroof. Oddly, and fustratingly, enough close in both directions is by holding the button down until the roof is seated. As stated by others the auto lock is only available on alarm equipped cars. Why BMW doesn't go all the way with some things - who knows? But, they will fix it in the next version ;)
I just bought my 1999 m3 and was wondering why I don't have auto door locks, is the only way to lock the doors is w/ a key? I don't have an alarm installed. Also my sunroof only one-touch opens and I have to hold the button down the whole time to close it. Is that right?
