What was your car exactly doing...?
Did the car seem to be hopping while you were trying to sping the wheel.
There are several explanations to this.
First,
You might check the tire pressure in the rear tires to see if they are equal. They should be of the same pressure, otherwise your car will do this shuddering hop during hard acceleration,i.e. peeling out.
Another reason might be the stock suspension which could be soft. You could adjust this by getting better shocks and setting them firm rear and a little bit softer in the front.
I had the same thing with my M Coupe when I took it to the Drag race a while ago. The wheel hop was screwing my launch and times.
After installing the shocks and setting them, I got a better launch and the car doesn't seem to hop while spinning the wheels.
I hope that this helps.
Shihab..
