I am certainly not an expert. I have autocrossed once. But I have spent many hours tweaking with autoracing simulations. Good simulations always differentiate between under/oversteer on corner entry, midcorner and on exit.

On entry and exit your behavior should have more to do with transitional behavior (bump and rebound damping) whereas midcorner it should be tirepatch related and suspension stiffness (for absorbing bumps).

This may explain the discrepencies we are getting here. I was quite suprised when I first heard that we should raise front pressure to reduce understeer. Perhaps on a skidpad we would see the tirepatch area related results some have suggested.
